Photosharing

The technology that I am exploring is SnapGalaxy. SnapGalaxy is a photo sharing website that uploads photos into albums that you can then share with your friends and family. This would be useful for classrooms, traveling, and for just sharing photos with friends and family. If you were traveling as you take pictures you can upload them and share them with a click of the mouse. This would also be useful for families with someone in the military and living in a different state or country. You could use SnapGalaxy in the classroom as well, sharing photos about something related to a topic you are teaching will help grab the student's attention and make them more interested in the subject.

Using SnapGalaxy was really easy. I was worried that it would be more difficult than it really was. All you had to do was sign up for free, then create an album. In each album you create you can share it with your friends or tag people in the photo album, which I though was really nifty. The site it very user-friendly and easy create photo albums. Many people could benefit from SnapGalaxy, such as; families, teachers, photographers, or people who just like to share photos.

The photo album that I created is of my closest friends. All of them are very special in their own way, as you can see from the pictures. They are all a very important part of my life! Their names are (L-R) Kristen, Ashley K, Lena, Adam, Sam, Amanda, Chloe, Alexa, Danni, KC and Jessica (plus one of kc's kids and one of Jessica's kids).
